Personal & Business Banking Traineeship

Personal & Business Banking Traineeship

Do you like looking for solutions and are interested in what is going on in the world? And would you like to contribute to sustainability? Then the Personal & Business Banking Traineeship is the place for you. You'll hit the ground running from day one with lots of responsibility!

What does the traineeship look like?

As a trainee within the Personal & Business Banking traineeship, you will work in one of the departments within ABN AMRO's Personal & Business bank - the bank where we provide services to consumers and business customers. Which department suits you best? We'd love to find out together! It could be the department where we serve our business customers or retail customers, or maybe a department where we work on product development or its implementation. You will follow the traineeship together with trainees from the Wealth Management traineeship, which is ABN AMRO's private bank. Meaning a stint at Wealth Management could be a possibility too.

A solid foundation

During the 18-month traineeship, you will discover what a career at ABN AMRO can offer you and contribute to building the bank of the future. This is how we train you for your first job and, using the different elements in the traineeship, give you the space to develop a solid foundation for your future career. Of course, you will also actively work on increasing your professional knowledge. In addition, we offer you the unique opportunity to follow The School of Life's 'Boost Your Growth' programme, where you will work on developing your personal leadership. Using project sprints with corresponding assignments, you will gain insight into how you are as a professional. This will allow you to discover how your talent is best showcased. You will also get many extras as a trainee, such as master classes, networking events, (outdoor) activities and sustainability workshops. The Talent Programme will furthermore provide you with plenty of opportunities to take a peek at other departments. Please keep in mind that the position you apply for is also the position you will graduate from upon completion of the traineeship.
