Your future context
The Processes & Control Officer will be part of the Strategy & Transformation Team.
The Processes & Control Officer supports management and the organisation in guarding its “License to Operate” (L2O) by contributing to the “First Line of Defence” (1LoD) management of non-financial risks. Processes and Control Officer advises on, supervises, supports, reports on and executes tasks related to operational risk management in close collaboration with the “Second Line of Defence” (2LoD) to ensure a properly functioning Risk Control Framework.
The Processes and Control Officer connects 1LoD and other stakeholders in support of his/her mission for the Belgian Branch.
Your future role
In support of the Wealth Management’s Strategy & Transformation team the Processes & Control Officer will be the focal point Processes & Control Belgium:
Acts as local contact for Processes & Control Wealth Management (Head Office) and ensures mutual alignment between the BE organisation and Head Office P&C.
Policy & Procedure Management:
Acts as coordinator within the BE organisation for all Policy and Procedure Management topics.
Supports the BE organisation in aligning with Group Policies by ensuring ownership is correctly assigned, Policy changes are known and followed up timely.
Sets up and maintains a structure for the definition and maintenance of local Policies and Procedures within the organisation, ensuring ownership is correctly assigned.
Follows up on the availability, quality, completeness and maintenance of local Policies and Procedures.
Reports to management on Policy and Procedure Management.
House in order:
Is the main coordinator for the “House in Order” targets of the bank, supporting the different departments and the bank’s management in achieving its goals in this area.
Acts as primary 1LoD contact for Non-Financial Risk related activities within the bank, closely cooperating with Risk and the CRO, but also other Second Line of Defence departments and other stakeholders.
Is local owner for the execution of the “Systematic Integrity Risk Assessment” (SIRA).
Participates when required in the “Local Enterprise Risk Committee”.
Under this topic are explicitly excluded Client Integrity Risk activities (KYC / CDD / DFC activities).
