ABN AMRO wants to enrich and renew the lending landscape. That all starts with simpler and faster processes, allowing us to better identify our customers' risks. Important, because that way we can serve them better and report more transparently. Similarly in the Credits Capability Grid department: we are digitising our customer data and building a new central credit platform. You, Business Consultant Credit Risk Monitoring, have a big role to play in this. You identify the specific needs of our business, and translate them to our IT department. Will you contribute to the credit landscape of the future?

Your job

You will work on solutions for the monitoring of risks of our customers, entrepreneurs. In an agile way of working together with your team, and in collaboration with various internal and external parties. The solutions are essential for monitoring credit risk, so you can really make a big impact.
In you daily work, you ensure that the IT solutions for Credit Risk Monitoring support our internal customers needs. By asking the right questions, you understand where we can improve our services. To ensure the solution stays compliant, your requirements incorporate policies and standards. With many stakeholders and perspectives involved, your communication skills are key. You are able to present your ideas to different audiences and can combine different perspectives into a shared direction.

For this:

  • you identify and report the requirements of our business;
  • you understand how our credit platform needs to change to meet those requirements;
  • you identify the technical requirements needed to do so;
  • you translate those functions into concrete user stories;
  • you connect the business with our IT teams.

Working environment

Your team is responsible for credit risk monitoring applications within the Credits Shared Capability department. Together we strive to enable entrepreneurs to make a positive impact in society. That starts with simpler, faster (and therefore digital) processes to improve the daily experience of our customers and employees. This goes beyond traditional banking and requires us to deploy more data-driven and integrated solutions with external partners.

Who are we looking for?

As a Business Consultant, you easily make connections and effortlessly substantiate your analyses in accessible language. You recognise the needs and questions of our business - you know what we need. Once you have identified those needs, you work in a solution-oriented way: with an innovative and fresh look, you think up how our new credit platform should take shape. To this end, you are the bridge between our business and IT departments.

Further requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in business analysis in the banking or credit sector.
  • Experience with front-end applications and working with IT teams (scrum/agile frameworks).
  • Pro-active, strong communicator focused on collaboration and bringing people together.
  • A relevant bachelor or university degree.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to contribute to a future-proof, sustainable credit landscape.
