    ABN AMRO Commercial Real Estate is divided in three regional teams, a large accounts team, a private banking team, a valuation team, an expertise team and a support team. On top of that we recently expanded our activities to Germany, where we opened our first CRE franchise. In total, our department consists of approximately 120 colleagues and we are still consistently growing. Commercial real estate is the largest sector within the financial solutions department and is also responsible for some of the most appealing deals bankwide. Our focus lies on financing high quality real estate with a high degree of sustainability. Our daily business varies from meeting with clients to providing tailor made financial solutions for them.

    Internship opportunities

      4 - 6 months
    • Available teams
      4 real estate lending teams, with either a regional or international focus
    • Learning curve
      Typically your responsibility accelerates throughout the internship and at the end of the internship the goal is that you can work side-to-side with trainees. In addition, you will have to opportunity to gain experience in the real estate lending field.

    Talent Programme opportunities

    • Length
      18 months
    • Available rotations
      Tailor made talent programme with typically two 6 months rotations at a real estate lending team and multiple opportunities to explore other teams within the Corporate Bank. This includes, but not limited to, Capital Structuring & Advisory, Corporate Development, ABN AMRO Ventures, Sustainable Impact Fund, Financing Solutions, Equity Research, Equity Capital Markets and Financial Restructuring & Recovery. You also have the opportunity to go abroad as we currently offer rotations to London and Frankfurt.
    • Learning curve
      2-year Nyenrode programme with both soft and hard skill trainings. Additional Corporate Finance specific trainings, such as courses by Hans Haanappel. You also have to opportunity to follow specific courses, such as language courses.
    • Start date
      The programme starts every March and September.

    Are you?

    • A recent graduate with at an University BSc (for the internship position) or a Master (for our traineeship) with affinity for Finance and Real Estate.
    • Ambitious, eager to learn and keen to explore different teams.
    • Willing to work in a social environment, including (many) social activities.
