Front End developer Daily Banking

The ABN AMRO app and Internet Banking website wouldn’t exist without the developers and engineers at our department, using their talent. We believe in a DevOps way of working while focusing on solid principles that give teams a sense of autonomy and purpose in their job. We have adopted a hybrid model of working with 2-4 office days. Besides, we offer everyone the opportunity to get better and grow in their skills, love to share knowledge, and challenge each other by, for example, giving presentations, organizing hackathons, potluck lunches, toasties on Wednesday, and having live meetings together!

Your job

As a FE Engineer at our grid, you play a key role in realizing ABN AMRO's strategy of being a personal bank in a digital age. With your interdisciplinary team you will focus on FE and other payment system components.

You work on, for example: 

  • Maintain and develop high traffic applications hosted on Azure.
  • Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders (FE, APP, BE).
  • Manage incidents, ensuring resolutions within SLAs. 

Working environment

In today's rapidly evolving financial landscape, the Daily Banking department facilitates customers in all their daily banking services like payments, savings, credits and insurance. The departement is responsible for a clear and realiable product and contract administration, which helps to service our clients in the best way possible. In addition, we offer business customers opportunities to optimally manage their working capital by providing our business customers with state-of-the-art liquidity services, like cash pooling. 

Your profile

Must have:   

  • Solid knowledge of web development fundamentals (HTML/CSS/JS)
  • VueJS (Vue3)  
  • Knowledge of modern web development concepts/technologies (NPM, Vite, packages/modules, linters)
  • CI/CD experience
  • Experience with unit testing
  • Experience with working Scrum/Agile
  • Great communication skills  

 

Good to have:

  • Cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
  • Web Components (Lit)
  • Experience with E2E testing tools (like Playwright)
  • Experience with Typescript
  • Experience with ServiceNow
