Your job

As an intern, your primary role will be to actively contribute as a full-stack developer, helping us enhance our corporate banking solutions. You will focus on improving the Corporate Broking Portal, with the goal of developing features that enable seamless interaction between companies and their shareholders, including functionalities for Annual General Meetings (AGM) and Shareholder Identification Disclosure (SID).

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating as part of an agile development team to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Expanding your expertise in product and platform development.

- Contributing to the optimization of shareholder identification processes.

- Designing and implementing functionalities for Annual General Meetings.

- Working closely with teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

 

Technology stack you will work with:

- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS);

- Relational databases (PostgreSQL);

- Spring Boot framework;

- Vue.js for front-end development.

Your working environment

Within Financial markets, you will be part of the Cobra DevOps team that operates according to Agile principles and is responsible for the refinement of requirements, creating solutions, testing the solutions and maintaining all environments.

The team is diverse, including a mix of Dutch and international colleagues who are keen to share their knowledge and expertise with you.

Your profile

We are looking for a skilled and high-performing intern:

• You are in a two-year MSc program or starting the final year of a BSc in Information and Communication Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• You are enrolled in a Dutch university for the entire duration of your internship (between August 1st, 2026 and February 28th, 2027).

• You are able to visualize, articulate, conceptualize, and resolve both complex and simple problems.

• You are organized, methodical, and adaptable to dynamic environments.

• You have good credibility, trustworthiness, problem-solving, task management, and self-management abilities.

• High levels of drive, commitment, and professionalism even under pressure.

• You have excellent written and spoken English.

• You are available for a full-time (36 to 40 hours per week) internship starting from August 1st, for a minimum of 6 months and a possibility to extend.
