Personal bank in a digital age

Our goal is to be a personal bank in a digital age. The world is changing rapidly and is becoming more and more digital. ABN AMRO wants to make a difference and contributes to the digitization of banking products. In this way you can easily do your banking online, have a consultation via a videocall and is it possible to request almost all products via our website. With all these developments, we enable the customer to arrange his or her banking with digital ease. 

igital & Innovation is responsible for the complete online services of the ABN AMRO Retail organization. To provide the best possible service, we have three focus areas: e-Commerce, Digital Development & Interaction and Strategy & Innovation. 

Needs of the customer

Working for Digital & Innovation means that you help the customer. For example, becoming more self-reliant by using the app. Or by offering products that match the wishes and needs of the customer, of course all based on our data. Harassing customers with useless propositions is not something we do. We only offer them relevant services and products through which they can be (financially) successful in a sustainable way. 

Serious business

Of course, not every test balloon may be freely released, we are in the end bound by strict laws and regulations. That means that you sometimes must take a few extra steps or just hold back on the way to your goal. On the other hand, your work at ABN AMRO really matters. Don’t underestimate that: with literally millions of touchpoints per month, one mistake can have a huge impact on our customers. We handle this with the utmost care, because we touch one of the most important parts of our customers lives: financial health. Conversely, apparently small improvements can also have a huge positive impact.
