Your job

As a Process Officer Operations, you ensure that various products are delivered timely, correctly, and adequately to our clients. Your focus will primarily be on internal processes. You will have the opportunity to gain knowledge of the end-to-end flows in Clearing and the activities within Operations. Together with your colleagues, you work daily on improving processes and contribute significantly to the service provided to our clients.

What will you do?

  • Manage and improve daily Clearing processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of client data in our systems.
  • Collaborate on projects to optimize our services.
  • Dive into the world of Clearing and process optimization.

Working environment

You will be working at ABN AMRO Clearing, a leading global player in Clearing and related services. We provide professional clients access to financial markets worldwide and process an average of 15 million transactions per day. Our goal is to make our clients' business reliable and secure, with a strong focus on innovation and automation.

Within Clearing Operations, you will be part of the Control team, which consists of approximately 25 colleagues from various nationalities and backgrounds. Together, you ensure that all client data is accurate and timely maintained. The team operates in an inclusive and dynamic environment where collaboration, process optimization, and digitization are key. Your workplace will be our office in Amsterdam, with excellent facilities for hybrid working.

Your profile

You are a proactive team player who can independently manage daily activities and initiate improvements to enhance our service. You are analytically strong, communicative, and have a passion for process optimization. You are motivated to learn and develop yourself in an international and dynamic environment.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent).
  • 1-3 years of work experience or relevant internships in the financial sector.
  • Interest in Clearing, financial products, or data analysis.
  • Experience in programming or automation projects is a plus.
  • Excellent command of the English language.

We are offering

  • The gross monthly salary (€4.032 - €5.041,-), is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and Benefit Budget;
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (3 days in office).
  • An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
  • An excellent pension scheme.
