Your job

As a Java Developer, you play a key role in realizing ABN AMRO's strategy of being a personal bank in a digital age. You are responsible for developing, maintaining and transforming our payment system landscape. You will contribute to the development of applications and microservices running on Java 25 and Spring Boot 4, deployed in the Azure cloud environment. You work in a DevOps team responsible for analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of software to automate and support business processes. You make sure crucial bank processes can be executed efficiently, securely and are sustainable.

You will be part of the Core Transactions department, which is at the heart of the innovation and growth strategy of our Personal & Business Banking business line. Our teams are a multidisciplinary group of ambitious colleagues working with an Agile mindset and responsible for the entire payment chain. Your profile

• 5+ years of experience in Java development (Java 17 or newer)
• Hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot
• Experience with public cloud platforms, particularly Azure and Azure DevOps
• Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and JMeter
• Nice to have: knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS

We are offering

• The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
• The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
• Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
• Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
• Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
• An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
