Your job

As an IT Business Analyst within ACE (Advanced Conversational Engagement), you are the driving force behind our digital innovation. You connect the business—stakeholders, Product Owners, and other teams—with the two DevOps teams that continuously develop our services. Together, you define the direction: you contribute to the creation of product roadmaps and guide the teams in turning this vision into reality. Topics currently in scope include the deployment of Agentic technology, the development of Generative AI capabilities, and the creation of a Knowledge Tool.

Working environment

At ACE, you will be part of a young and energetic environment where innovation and Business Analysis go hand in hand. As an IT Business Analyst in two chatbot DevOps teams, you work on smart, customer-focused innovations using the latest technologies (AI, GenAI, Agentic) aimed at optimizing digital interactions. You always keep an eye on business value and technical feasibility. The working atmosphere is open, informal, and collaboration-focused. You interact daily with developers, the Product Owner, and other stakeholders, where your analytical mindset and strong communication skills truly make a difference. To maintain strong team spirit and effective collaboration, there is at least one office day per week, based in Amsterdam or Utrecht. This ensures short communication lines, better alignment, and room for spontaneous ideas and innovation. For the rest of the week, you have flexibility to work wherever you are most productive.
In short, a dynamic work environment where you are challenged, given room to grow, and where your contribution has a direct impact on both the future development and the ongoing maintenance of chatbot Anna.
ABN AMRO is increasingly becoming a digital bank, where customers can handle simple banking activities independently. Your profile

You have at least 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in an IT environment.

• Hands-on experience in gathering requirements, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria
• Knowledge of and experience with agile/scrum methodologies
• Experience with digital channels, chatbots, and AI solutions (Microsoft GenAI, Copilot Studio, Bot Studio) or with building search applications is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, process-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Bonus: Experience with Azure solutions, customer service platforms, API development, software development, and PI planning
