We are looking for a IT Engineer with a technical background and a "can-do" mentality who is eager to further grow as an Engineer and join our IT Channels Domain. Our domain is closely linked to Digital Channels & Core Payments, together we are responsible for creating the smoothest credit card experience for our commercial and private clients. 
 

Your job

As an IT Engineer, you are able to develop, configure, and manage software applications in ways that allows the business to operate as effectively as possible. You are part of a team that has end-to-end responsibility, on behalf of the business and clients, for developing, managing, and maintaining the App, which are prioritised.

You will be working on projects like Google Pay, Secure App enrollment. As an App developer you be part of the value chain that builds, tests and maintains the solutions.  

Your work area includes: 

• Developing the new App that are scalable and highly performant. 
• Work and maintain applications in a DevOps team with autonomy and participate proactively in team decisions. 
• Work on the training and learnings path created as part of the chosen development plan. 
• Collaborate with team members. 
• Active participation in the relevant communities

Working environment

IT Digital Channels is responsible for ICS Frontend applications (Web & App) as well as the API's that enable these to work. We serve clients  

We develop and maintain a variety of applications using many different technologies and innovative (IT)concepts! We have embraced DevOps way of working where we strive towards self-organizing teams which have the autonomy to make quick decisions. Our teams work according to the scrum and SaFE principles. You are expected to participate in all Scrum and SaFE event & activities (such as daily scrum, sprint planning meetings, and QPE event.  You work with your team to determine how you can ensure qualities (knowledge and skills) area and remain a sufficiently present within the team. 

The atmosphere within the team and the department is open and informal. You will work in a diverse team with many different nationalities, and a good gender diversity and junior-senior ratio. We work hard, but there is certainly room for fun! 
 

Your profile

You are a pleasant colleague to work with and a teamplayer with a drive to move forward. You're a passionate, technically strong and senior mobile app developer with React Native experience. And willing to build high-performance, user-centric applications for iOS and Android platforms (using React Native). On top you're skilled in creating seamless cross-platform experiences that deliver native-like performance while maintaining code efficiency and reducing development time. 

Must haves for this job:

• 10+ years of experience as a mobile app developer.
• 5+ years of experience with React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, Redux/Context API.
• Experience with Native module integration and platform-specific customizations.
• Experience with App Store and Google Play deployment and optimization.
• Experience with performance optimization and debugging tools.
• Experience with UI/UX implementation with responsive design principles.

Nice to haves for this job:

• You have experience with agile development methodologies and version control.
• You're able to transform complex business requirements into intuitive mobile experiences.

• You able to collaborate effectively with designers, backend developers, and product teams.
• You're eager to learn and on top of React Native ecosystem updates and best practices.
• You have strong problem-solving skills with attention to performance and user experience.
