In the software department of ABN AMRO Asset Based finance we are responsible for developing and running our technical solutions. The software is partly developed in house, partly provided by 3rd parties. We are seeking a Technical Application Manager/OPS Engineer to join our team, focusing on managing third-party applications from a technical standpoint. This role involves working with Azure infrastructure, ensuring application updates, and providing technical support, with the potential to expand into functional support.

As a IT Engineer/Technical Application Manager/OPS Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Managing third-party applications, ensuring their technical integrity and performance.
Installing and updating infrastructure in Azure to support application needs.
Performing regular updates and maintenance on applications.
Providing technical support to users and stakeholders, resolving any issues that arise.
Collaborating with other teams and suppliers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of applications.
Expanding your role to include functional support to enhance user experience and application utility.
Perform small development and maintenance tasks. Mainly focussing on integration, queries (SQL) and application reporting.
Working environment
You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative scrum team at ABN AMRO, where teamwork is highly valued. The team is responsible for running several 3rd party applications, technical and functional. These applications form the core of our client proposition. You will work closely with various team is ABN ARMO Asset Based Finance and other ABN AMRO departments to ensure the optimal performance of our applications and infrastructure.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, you should have:
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing and supporting third-party applications.
Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
Excellent problem-solving skills and technical acumen.
The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience in providing both technical and functional support is a plus.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly. You will need to connect to other parts of ABN ARMO regularly.
The ability to adapt to changing technical landscapes and learn new technologies quickly.
Hands on DevOps area, creating\managing pipeline.
Knowledge on SQL, creating new queries, managing the exiting queries.
