Your job

BCDB employs a hybrid tech landscape:

- Cloud Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Storage, App Services, DevOps).
- Programming Languages: Modern Java (17, 21), JavaScript, Vue.js.
- Architecture: Microservices, event-driven design, REST APIs, Kafka.
- Legacy Systems: Maintaining critical mainframes.

 

 

Your working environment

As a Junior Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in managing and modernizing customer data systems, working with both legacy and modern tools. Candidates should have a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn.

Your profile

- Programming: Basics of Java (preferred) or other languages.
- Databases: SQL knowledge and database concepts.
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git.
- Backend Basics: REST APIs and backend systems.
- Cloud Fundamentals: Introductory understanding of cloud platforms.
- Event-Driven Architecture: Awareness of Kafka or similar tools.
- Frontend Awareness: Basics of web development and JavaScript.
- Agile/DevOps: Understanding workflows and principles.
