This grid brings together end-to-end business processes, customer journeys, and application ownership under one unified mandate. The mission is clear: enhance and digitalize generic customer processes and their journeys to deliver exceptional customer experiences and significantly advance the bank's strategic objectives. We are looking for a Business Developer within the Customer Data Refresh & Outreach superblock. This team is responsible for the management, digitalisation, and oversight of customer data & processes. As a Business Developer, you will be part of the Financial Statements as a Service programme.

You will have the opportunity to use your expertise to provide direction within the Financial Statements as a Service (FSaaS) programme. This programme is working on an innovative solution to keep customer data up to date, specifically annual reports. The project team works for the entire bank, including subsidiaries and international offices. You will be responsible for improving the process concerning keeping customer data current and contributing to the target solution, where you will deal with complex issues and changing laws and regulations, providing advice to stakeholders inside and outside the organisation. By keeping track of trends, you can quickly respond to new risks and contribute to the risk management of our bank.  
 
The programme will expand throughout 2026 under the name of Customer Data Gathering Framework (CDGF) for which the aim is to gather and structure more than only Financial Statements. In your role, you will actively support in setting up the vision for CDGF.

Customer Data Solutions is responsible for projects aimed at generic customer processes and customer data, and we take the lead across the bank to achieve successful results. Due in part to laws and regulations, it is increasingly important for the bank to have insight into the current data of the customer. For example, think of data needed for monitoring credit risks, but also information in the context of sustainability and anti-money laundering legislation.

 

Collecting more and more data in a structured and customer-friendly way is a challenge, which is why we have recently started a special team to further streamline the process of requesting customer data. The first component we are tackling is requesting and storing data from companies' financial annual reports. Given the bank’s growing importance in collecting and managing relevant customer data, Customer Data Solutions plays a key role. The focus is on translating different data needs into a customer-friendly solution, using internal and external data sources and taking into account the relevant laws and regulations.

 

Innovation through the implementation and application of automation, machine learning, and risk-based thinking is crucial for a sustainable, customer-friendly, and effective process. 

Je profiel

For this challenging position, it is essential that you have at least five years of relevant work experience as a senior. During this period, you have demonstrable experience in (leading) complex projects or programmes, or in (managing) multidisciplinary teams. In addition, it is important that you have (basic) knowledge on what  annual reports consists of and for what purposes they are used within the organization.  

 

You possess an academic level of thinking and are able to quickly master complex subject matter. You can also effectively interact with a large and diverse field of stakeholders. During workshops, you guide teams and are also able to clearly put matters in writing. You naturally bring structure, but you also have a pragmatic approach to getting things done. Collaboration and taking responsibility are second nature to you. 

 

Additionally, you have knowledge and experience with IT, data, and the associated processes. You have a proven track record in solving complex problems and are experienced in working with specialists and professionals. You are analytical and have the ability to see the bigger picture, but you do not shy away from delving into the details. Managing a large and complex stakeholder field is a skill you have mastered. 

Wij bieden

  • The gross monthly salary at hay 10 (min. Eur. 5.112 - max. Eur. 7.303) is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and Benefit Budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home for 2 days a week (in consultation with your team).
  • An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
  • An excellent pension scheme.
