Back-End Engineer Mortgages (hay 9)

Your job

Within mortgages we are busy creating and expanding various applications and services. These are built with the frontend framework (Vue) and the most recent dotnet for the backend (C#, dotnet 8.0/9.0). Together with these modern techniques, you work in the cloud in an Azure Devops environment. Step by step we ensure that the old mortgage applications and services can be phased out and that we can replace it with new applications and services hosted on the cloud. You, as a backend developer will help us in achieving these goals. In the mortgages department, we are working hard to create software that enables customers and mortgage advisers to work as smoothly and as quickly as possible. Are you our new enthusiastic backend developer who will help us make this possible? We are looking for a developer with an emphasis on backend development, but there is certainly room to also do frontend development.

Working environment

The team you are part of consists of various specialists such as developers, testers, business analysts and the product owner. You work on the applications together with these specialists, flexibly from home or at the office. You will be part of a DevOps scrum team in which you help to develop one or more mortgage applications. In addition, you will become part of the Dotnet chapter. In this chapter we coach each other and try to keep ourselves up to date with the latest developments regarding code inside and outside the bank. Your Chapter lead will support you in setting up and achieving your personal goals.

We are looking for knowledge, experience or intrest in: 

  • Dotnet/C#
  • Willingness to expand in using other programming languages (like Vue)
  • Unit testing
  • End 2 end testing (Selenium/Playwright)
  • Version control (GIT)
  • Located in The Netherlands
