Business Developer III (Credit Risk)

Value Delivery Team Basel is looking for SAS Business developer with Regulatory Knowledge & Experience in Credit risk RWA Calculations. This team is responsible for CR RWA Implementation. The vacant positions offer opportunities to develop yourself as a well-rounded credit risk implementation expert in the heart of the Bank with a special focus on the CRD/CRR framework. As a member of this multidisciplinary team, you will bring your expertise in IT, Business and Change to the table.

Your job

As a SAS Business Developer, your role involves analysing data, developing and testing functionality using SAS and proposing improvements. Together with your team, you are the experts on data requirements & implementation of CR RWA Calculations. You reach your objectives by bringing your SAS expertise and pursuing active cooperation with professionals from business and IT, contributing to the continuous improvement of Basel compliance.

Working environment

You operate within the Finance & Risk Business GRIDs (FRBG). You become part of the Value Delivery Team Basel, responsible for CR RWA Implementation. We help you develop yourself both professionally and as a person. The position offer opportunities to develop yourself as a well-rounded credit risk implementation expert.

Your profile

  • Experienced SAS Developer with Base SAS Programming and SAS Macro Programming
  • Other SAS software competence - SAS Data Integration (SAS DI), SAS Visual Analytics (SAS VA), SAS Management Console
  • Experience and knowledge of SAS Regulatory Capital Management and SAS Infrastructure for Risk Management is added bonus.
  • T-Shaped Professional; Analyse, develop, code, test, debug and document programming on assigned applications to satisfy business requirements
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliancy requirements, Basel regulations, prudential reporting and/or RWA calculation, IFRS regulation.
  • Ability to combine data and query skills with regulatory knowledge to analyse RWA and reporting impact for specific changes and explaining reasons for movements and documentation of such impact assessments
  • Excellent communications skills, especially in writing (fluency in English is required).

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
  • An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
