Product Owner Information Protection

As a Product Owner for an Information Protection team, you spearhead the development and management of products and services aimed at safeguarding sensitive information of the bank and its customers. Responsibilities include defining clear vision, product strategy, prioritizing features, collaborating with stakeholders, steering implementation, ensuring compliance, aligning them with organizational goals and market needs, driving continuous improvement to protect data effectively. Your job

As a leader with an analytical and innovative mindset you will drive to improve the ways of working in the Cyber Defence grid as a whole and to advance Information Protection specifically. You will use your knowledge of complex IT-environments combined with concepts such as data loss prevention, insider risks, compliance in cloud with SaaS applications. The overall challenge is implementing and making business adapt DLP solutions effectively.

 

As a Product Owner you’ll have a strategic role in the Cyber Defence grid. In that role you will ensure that you lead the development and enhancement of a DLP solution and Shadow IT risk management. Your experience with working as a Product Owner in an agile environment is evident and will help you drive the team forward.

 

In order to meet these challenges, you keep yourself up to date on the latest developments in the Information Protection market. Sharing your knowledge with colleagues and peers comes naturally to you.

Working environment

You will work as the Product Owner of the Information Protection within ABN AMRO CISO’s Cyber Defence Grid. The team consists of diverse, motivated and passionate cybersecurity engineers, consultants with specialisations such as: data loss prevention, cloud application security, ShadowIT risk management, business consultation. 

Your profile

  • 5+ years of experience with Product ownership in an agile working environment. 
  • HBO or Bachelor level
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate complex technical concepts.
  • Sound judgement and decision-making skills to evaluate trade-offs, make tough decisions, and prioritize competing demands based on objectives and risk considerations.
  • Monitoring KPI such as data protection effectiveness and user satisfaction to assess product performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams, including development, design, legal, implementation of product plan.


Nice to have

  • Experience with Data Loss Prevention, Compliance or risk management.
  • Experience with working in complex IT environments.
  • Background in cyber security.
