Your job

In the Financial Markets Research internship, you get hands-on experience with conducting sell-side fixed income research for institutional investors and large issuers. The internship is focussed on (1) analysis of bank covered bonds and (2) the modelling of bank balance sheets and regulatory data which is subsequently used in valuing fixed income securities. Next to this you will support the senior positions in the research teams on ad-hoc analysis and projects.

The Financial Markets Research team is part of Group Economics (GE), and works closely with other GE functions, such as Sustainability Research and Macro Economic/Business Cycle Research. 

Your profile

We are looking for skilled and high-performing interns, who
•    Are at the top of your year in a MSc or in the final year of BSc in Economics or Finance (or a related study)
•    Have a demonstrable interest in financial products and markets, preferably fixed income or equities
•    You have financial modelling skills 
•    You have proficient written and spoken English language skills
•    You are able to start as soon as possible
