As a trainee, you work together with colleagues all over the world to serve the best trading houses through our global network.

From our offices located in the major international trading cities, we serve professional clients, such as professional trading firms, investment managers and large corporates. As clients are highly demanding and the market environment fluctuates, you are guaranteed to learn a lot in a short space of time. Working at ABN AMRO Clearing means thriving in an international, professional yet informal, fast-paced, IT-driven environment. 

What does the programme look like?

Both the 12-month Global Clearing Talent Programme and Global Clearing IT Talent Programme prepare you for a job in the dynamic world of Clearing. Together with the international business and IT graduates you enrol into an induction training in Amsterdam. During these training weeks you will learn everything there is to know about ABN AMRO Clearing, supporting you on your way to truly making a difference. Besides these training weeks you take on three rotations of which one abroad.  

Starting positions

The precise details of the Clearing Talent Programme depend on the direction you choose. You can choose one of the following two starting positions:

  • Global Clearing Talent Programme
  • Global Clearing IT Talent Programme

The Global Clearing Talent Programme starts with a class in September and the Global Clearing IT Talent Programme allows for a start anytime throughout the year based on your preference.  We are looking for diversity in background, field and interests.     Who are you?

    • You are driven, curious and are capable of assessing and evaluating risks
    • You have knowledge of technology and how this supports business improvements
    • You are a fast learner and eagerness to share gained knowledge
    • You are a self-starter who readily assumes responsibility
    • You have at a Bachelor's degree, preferably followed by a Master's degree (not necessarily in Finance)
    • You have no more than 2 years of work experience
