Are you a student of Educational Sciences, Learning & Development or Educational Sciences and do you want to make an impact in a complex organisation? Do you want to learn how strategic themes such as Business Process Management (BPM) are translated into effective learning solutions for professionals? Then this internship at ABN AMRO is for you. As an intern Learning & Development you will work on the (further) development of education about Business Process Management, from training courses and learning paths to short knowledge videos. You help us to make complex BPM concepts understandable, applicable and learnable for various roles in the organisation.

Your job

Within the Center of Expertise Business Process Management (CoE BPM) you work at the intersection of content and learning. Among other things, you concern yourself with:

• Translating BPM roles and responsibilities into concrete learning objectives and interventions;
• Contributing to the (further) development of the BPM curriculum and role-specific learning paths;
• Didactic improvement of existing training materials (videos, presentations and online content);
• Thinking along about how the BPM method can be explained in an understandable and applicable way;
• Designing evaluations to measure how effective the learning solutions are.

You work closely with BPM experts, but your added value is mainly in how people learn (we do not ask you to become a BPM expert in terms of content).

Your working environment

You will come to work in a small team (6 people), within the Business Process Management & Process Digitalization (BPM‑PD) department. As a department we are building a simple and modular process landscape for the entire bank. The stakeholder field is therefore large and complex. Our team is responsible for the development of the methodology and way of working, including a fixed training offering. We have a permanent office day in Diemen, but we also regularly come together at other locations if the work requires it (for example to brainstorm).

Your profile

You are an enthusiastic and curious student, who enjoys connecting theory and practice. In addition:

• You are following a higher professional education or university programme (Educational Sciences, Learning & Development, Educational Sciences or comparable);
• You have an interest in learning in organisations and professional development;
• You are able to structure complex information and make it understandable;
• You work independently, but also actively seek alignment;
• You enjoy working together with different disciplines, which are located in all kinds of places within this organisation.

Experience with the subject BPM is not required; curiosity, creativity and the willingness to grow are.
