Your job

We are looking for a Business Developer who can bridge business needs and AI opportunities. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design future processes leveraging AI and automation.

You are comfortable interviewing stakeholders, structuring requirements, and translating business challenges into clear process improvements. You understand how AI can enhance efficiency, decision-making, and customer experience within Finance and Risk.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges
• Gather and structure functional and process requirements
• Facilitate discussions to align stakeholders on improvement opportunities

Process Analysis & Improvement

• Document current (“as-is”) processes in a structured way
• Identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement potential
• Design future (“to-be”) processes that improve efficiency and quality
• Create clear and structured process documentation

AI Opportunity Identification

• Identify where AI can improve or transform existing processes
• Translate business needs into potential AI use cases
• Collaborate with AI specialists to define solution direction
• Stay informed on AI capabilities and innovations relevant to financial services

Business Value Focus

• Assess impact of proposed improvements on efficiency, cost, and quality
• Support prioritization of initiatives based on business value
• Ensure solutions align with financial and regulatory context

Collaboration

• Work closely with business teams, AI specialists, and product teams
• Support implementation of new processes and ways of working
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Working environment

The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 200+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring risk data management to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable risk data on time. We do this by improving the risk data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Finance and Risk Data Domain consists of 7 departments where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.

You are part of the AI Strategy Team in the Centre of Expertise Advanced Analytics & Artificial Intelligence department. You will report to the Business Lead CoE AA & AI.

Your profile

You have an interest and experience in AA & AI. You are a passionate, hard-working professional with an eye for details. You are able to execute assignments independently as well as interact directly with stakeholders when it comes to day-to-day matters.

• You’ve successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.) and have at least 5-7 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives
• Understanding of regulatory context in Finance & Risk
• Experience working in cross-functional teams
• Affinity with data-driven decision making
• You are familiar with the Agile way of working
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage)
• Experience with Confluence, JIRA or Azure Boards (pre).
