ABN AMRO Clearing (AAC) is a global firm that provides an integrated suite of financial services to professional trading participants in the global financial market. Our core service offering consists of execution, clearing, financing, stock borrowing and lending, settlement and custody.

 

Role Purpose

 

The purpose of this role is to lead the client relationship strategy, and place AAC in its most competitive market position to maximise revenue-generating opportunities. You will take the lead in achieving financial and strategic goals locally, and be a leader to the local sales and relationship management team, influencing the strategic relationship with new and existing clients. This role is a permanent full-time role.

 

Role Responsibilities

 

  • Directly manage and coach a team of Sales and Relationship Managers in coordinating strong relationships and identifying new opportunities locally and across the APAC region
  • Establish goals and objectives, and define strategic/tactical plans that seek to ensure the attainment of client satisfaction, retention and revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision makers of client companies to develop in-depth understanding of clients’ business objectives, challenges, opportunities and needs
  • Educate existing and prospective clients on our service offerings and play a pivotal part in generating new business
  • Responsible for new client on-boarding, new market and product roll-out for existing and omnibus clients and annual client reviews
  • Ensure internal and cross-departmental relationships are smooth and maintained
  • Maintain positive relationships with exchanges, custodians and broker counterparts through regular contact
  • Achieve service delivery excellence, and be the first line of defence when it comes to risk management and compliance for the company

 

Role Requirements

 

  • Tertiary qualification in a Business-related discipline
  • 8+ years relevant working experience in a Client Management role, with a strong Commercial focus
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets and products, specifically clearing processes
  • Knowledge of infrastructure organisations, regulators and industry representative bodies
  • Knowledge of execution services (DMA/OMS) and financing would be advantageous
  • Previous sales experience would be advantageous
