Your job

Our team is working on many interesting topics for the Area Helpdesk & Digital Support Services to deliver “WoW Support" With all the employees of the entire ABN AMRO being the user group, our products and services are intensively used and deliver great value to the bank. We have the capacity and expertise to guide young professionals and build something “WoW” together.

We provide weekly coaching sessions and all the necessary daily support, so that you can put the design theories and research methods you have learned into practice, independently work on design assignments, give your critical opinions about existing designs, and conduct design/user research. You will have the opportunity to review your work with our whole Area.

The tasks of this internship role will include

1. Usability improvement for Knowledge Base

2. Interaction design for XLA (EXperience Level Agreements) surveys

3. Design system and visual identity guidelines

4. User interviews regarding our products and services

The internship would take place in the team of User Experience Helpdesk, Area Helpdesk & Digital Support Services, Grid Service Integration & Orchestration, Department Platform & Technology. Our team has 7 teammates, including Product Owner, Scrum Master, data analysts, XLA (eXperience level agreement) analyst, complaint manager, and a UX designer. We are the voice of users, and we drive positive changes for more user-friendly products and services. We are an open, hybrid, fun and flexible team that never stops learning and improving. 

Your profile

Hard skills & soft skills needed to succeed in the job

  1. You are a WO student (BSc/MSc).
  2. Your studies are related to Interaction Design or User Experience Design.
  3. You have an affinity with design.
  4. You are registered at a Dutch university for the whole duration of the internship.
  5. You are available to start in February/March 2023 for a minimum of 6 months.
  6. You have experience in design prototyping, preferably with Figma.
  7. You have experience in design/user research.
  8. You are disciplined enough to work and succeed without supervision.
  9. You can convey information in an accurate and clear manner.
  10. You have a "hands-on" mentality.
