Your job

As Product Owner in the new Credit Risk Services shop of the Grid, you contribute to high prioritised credits capabilities. You are, together with your teams responsible for the introduction and development of a new Credit Risk Assessment & Approval Capability to support the new Bank Assistant Lending Service concept. The opportunity for this team is to further build and launch an automated new service to professionalise the credit risk fundaments of ABN AMRO and comply with regulatory standards. 
You will work on the recording of all administration for the monitoring of risks of our customers, entrepreneurs. Centrally administer, monitor and report the risks, in a future-proof way. The administration is essential for monitoring risks, so you can really make a big impact here. We want to centrally store the information of our customers in a new system, down to a detailed level. We are going to implement a new standard for the entire bank. This is not only driven by laws and regulations. As a bank, we also want to know exactly what is going on with our customers so that we can help them immediately to prevent financial problems. In this way we keep the credit risk for the bank manageable at the same time. This data helps us to build a joint picture of a risk profile of entrepreneurs and to proactively inform them about this. This is in the interest of our customer, which is what we do it all for in the end.
With the help of a prioritized backlog and the guidance from the Future Credit Domain Program you create structure for your teams to achieve the set goals and KPIs. You take your stakeholders with you during sprint reviews and demos, know how to value their input and influence where necessary. You also report effectively on statuses, deviations and solutions to stakeholders and the Lead Product Owner. Short cycle, focus on creating maximum customer value for entrepreneurs and the regulators, with predictable delivery and execution. That is the basis from which you always work.

Working environment

As part of the Product Unit Financial Solutions, you are going to work as a Product Owner in the Credits Capability Grid of the Lending Transformation. Financing Solutions (FS) is the Credit Engine of ABN AMRO, providing clients from all client segments with the best suited credit solution. FS provides clients with lending exposures EUR >1mln of a credit advice (Wealth and CRE are serviced for all exposures), and services the corporate lending product portfolio (e.g. product management, collateral management, regulatory management) for all exposures from a Grid perspective. FS offers its products across sectors via both standardized as well as customized solutions, depending on the client's needs and profile.​ 

The Credits Capabilities Grid is responsible for bank wide credit (related) shared capabilities such as: Credit Facility management, Distressed Dept Management (Collections), Credit Risk Process Management, Credit Data management and Credit Risk Monitoring. We work close with ABN AMRO subsidiaries e.g. New10, ALFAM and ABN AMRO Mortgages to create more client centric services and synergies to comply effective on regulatory standards. In this area you will work closely with Risk, Data & Analytics Grid as well.

- Higher educational background (master level) and relevant work experience
- Experience with credits and digitizing processes 
- You know how to use data making your decisions

- Skilled in analysing and structuring complex problems, identifying solutions/ options and presenting your advice to stakeholders in a convincing and structured manner

Salary indication gross per year based on a 40-hour work week: Eur 75k - 95k all-in (incl. holiday allowance / benefit budget). Scale depends on the knowledge, experience and potential you bring. A 36-hour work week is also possible.
In addition: a personal development budget of €1,000 per year, an annual public transport subscription, a good pension scheme and hybrid working (from home or at the office).
