Je werk

As Consultant Non Financial Risk Data you plan a central role in making sure the scrum teams within the Non Financial Risk Data (NFR) cluster can focus on the right strategic priorities. Together with your colleague you’ll break up large and complex requests or topics into smaller bits that can be further refined and implemented by our scrum teams. 
Think of topics like a large new regulatory change, a data model methodology that will be replacing the existing one, changes in our data governance that need to be implemented. Topics that are too vague or too big to be picked up in their current shape by our scrum teams.
In this role you will be working with Cluster lead, IT lead and Product Owners, our stakeholders (like Compliance, Fraud department, Information & Operational Risk and Legal) but also with members from the scrum teams that in the end will be picking up the work. 
As our main goal is to deliver our stakeholders compliant data in a futureproof manner, it is important that you are experienced in (logical) data modelling, (cloud) data platforms and data management next to having problem solving / consulting skills. A background in Non-Financial Risk also helps!


You will work in the NFR Data Value Proposition Team. This team is part of the NFR Data cluster within the Risk Data & Modelling grid. The grid is part of Risk Data & Analytics (RD&A) and plays an active role for all the Risk departments. We employ 180+  staff, all of whom share a passion for getting the most out of risk data. Our aim is to generate reliable risk data in good time. We do this by improving the risk data itself, data systems and data processes.

The cluster and team consist of international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring risk data management to structurally higher level. The atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal. We work hard, but there’s plenty of room for enjoyment!

Je profiel

You have a keen interest in and preferably experience in Risk Management and Data Management. You are a passionate, hard-working professional with an eye for details. You are able to execute assignments independently as well as interact directly with stakeholders when it comes to day-to-day matters. You are proficient in preparing advisory presentation materials for senior management and are capable to lead project teams to get them up to speed. And you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are a true team player.

•    You’ve successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.) and have at least 5 years of relevant work experience 
•    You have knowledge of data management best practices (e.g.DAMA) 
•    You have experience with (cloud) data platforms and data modelling
•    You have proven experience with breaking down (refining) big topics into smaller, implementable pieces of work
•    You have worked in and/or with Scrum/DevOps teams
•    You have affinity with Risk Management 
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage)
