Analyst, Debt Capital Markets Origination

At a glance

Markets UK aims to be the leading Capital Markets service provider to the clients of the bank. The UK market is a key
financial market for the bank to grow its North-West European footprint and forms part of the core strategy of Debt Capital Markets and Financial Institutions & Corporate Coverage. The mission of DCM is to be the bank’s clients’ strategic business partner through the provision of first class funding and capital solutions.

Markets is the heart of ABN AMRO’s Corporate Banking (CB) business. London is the home to the largest number of the bank’s Financial Institution (FI) clients and a significant global asset management hub, as such DCM UK plays a pivotal role in the bank’s desire to provide a sustainable capital markets offering to its clients. These clients are banks, insurance companies, and other FIs. In addition, the bank’s focus is on growing the Corporate client base within its chosen core sectors, as such the DCM offering is also vital to this corporate client group.
The products are vanilla fixed income bonds, such as but not restricted to, senior unsecured bonds, senior nonpreferred unsecured bonds, secured bonds like covered bonds, RMBS and Bank or Insurance Capital products including Tier 2, Tier 3, Additional Tier 1 and Restricted Tier 1 issues.

Wherever appropriate DCM Origination will form part of a Client Service Team (CST), a multidisciplinary team which possesses specialist expertise in the fields that are relevant to the particular client, such as Financial Institutions & Corporate Coverage, Credit Relationship and Portfolio Management, DCM and Corporate Finance.

Your job
