Do you want to improve the backoffice systems of the Corporate Credits environment and enable new credit origination, monitoring and maintenance processes to make the transition to the new world?

As part of the Future Credit Domain (FCD) program the shared capability of Credit Facility Management (CFM) needs to be developed and implemented. ACBS ensures customers can use the credit products. It enables generating revenue from calculated fees and triggering the invoicing. It is a data source for e.g. (credit) risk & finance to meet regulatory requirements.

In this role as Product Owner you steer the implementation together with experts and Agile teams within the bank as a shared capability for the different bank wide loan portfolio’s.

Your job

Credit Facility Management is a shared capability team that is responsible for the lifecycle of credit facilities (on boarding, monitoring, maintenance, termination). The challenge is to modernize the technology so that data is available 24/7 and the administration is easily configurable for new requirements. As Product Owner CFM you are part of the Credit Facility Management team and you report to the Lead Product Owner CFM, who is part of the Credits Capability Grid Leadership Team. Your scope is two delivery teams, on and offshore. You ensure correct prioritization of the underlying project initiatives. You create and maintain a climate in which the focus is on the long-term needs of the stakeholders are taken as the starting point. You strive for balance in the interests of the customer, regulator and of the bank. The complexity of this position lies in the availability of what is required by the business and stakeholders, whereby you, with Business developers and Agile teams determine in consultation what will be delivered. You work closely with the IT and Operations teams, where the product owners and business developers determine what needs to be done and IT/Operations determines how to do it.

Your role is to lead the current developments towards implementation of a shared capability within the bank wide credit IT landscape, and to continuously develop this shared capability for the different type of lending portfolio’s within the bank. It entails: simpler and better compliancy to (future) regulation, bringing together the current CFM initiatives. Bringing specialist grid teams together in modelling, data, IT, processes, products and regulations to co-create this new shared capability.

Working environment

You are going to work together with business developers, (lead) product owners, an engineering lead and a program manager in the Credit Facility Management team, within Credits Capability Grid. This GRID is part of the Lending Transformation team that sits within the Product Unit Financing Solutions (FS). Financing Solutions (FS) is the Credit Engine of ABN AMRO, providing clients from all client segments with the best suited credit solution. FS provides clients with lending exposures EUR >1mln of a credit advice (Wealth and CRE are serviced for all exposures), and services the corporate lending product portfolio (e.g. product management, collateral management, regulatory management) for all exposures from a Grid perspective. FS offers its products across sectors via both standardized as well as customized solutions, depending on the client's needs and profile.​

The FS Credits Capabilities Grid is responsible for the credit (related) shared capabilities such as: Credit Facility management, CaRE (early and late collections), Credit Risk Process Management, Credit Data management and Credit Risk Monitoring

Check your profile:

  • 4 year+ experience in a ‘change’ environment, of which 2 years in a Product Owner position
  • Strategy, vision, and policy-making
  • Highly skilled in stakeholder management. Energetic by nature and focused on collaboration, a facilitating leadership style to achieve results.
  • You oversee the complexity of lending, legislation and regulations, risk, finance and ICT. And know how this relates to each other.
  • You know how a bank works. You are familiar within bank wide organization, sales, risk and data, IT organization
  • Knowledge of the Business and IT-architecture, process design & - management
