Your job
You will work in your own DevOps block (scrum team) on developing and maintaining good quality and future proof IT solutions. You will be:
- Writing clean, working, safe and secure Java code.
- Actively participating in daily scrums, reviews, planning sessions
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the setup and deployment of the software architecture
- Ensure availability and reliability of applications by settings up monitoring and alerting systems
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, and share your knowledge with others in communities, and dedicated events.
Working environment
The Credits Capabilities Department is responsible for bank wide credit (related) shared capabilities such as: Credit Facility management, Distressed Dept Management (Collections), Credit Risk Process Management, Credit Data management and Credit Risk Monitoring. We work close with ABN AMRO subsidiaries e.g. New10, ALFAM and ABN AMRO Mortgages to create more client centric services and synergies to comply effective on regulatory standards. In this area you will work closely with Risk, Data & Analytics.
Your team consists of a mix of international junior and senior IT Engineers. At ABN AMRO, we strive to be a personal bank in a digital age. That strategy is also brought to life in how we work ourselves. Hence we offer hybrid working as the new normal. This offers you the flexibility to decide when and where can work most comfortably and effectively. Of course we offer you the right resources you need in order to set up a good home office. Your profile
You feel at home in a technical environment and are always up to date on the latest technologies. You love working on (Java) technologies to find the best IT solutions. Do you think you're a fit? Check your profile:
- You have a couple of years professional Java programming experience and passionate about all aspects of software development
- You have knowledge of Spring Boot
- You have knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure.
- You have knowledge of CI/CD technologies
On a more personal note we would like you to:
- Have strong analytical skills
- Be a proactive communicator
- Have knowledge of Agile software development and have a DevOps mindset.
- Be prepared to take ownership
- Be fluent in English
