Your job as ...
As a full stack developer at our grid, you play a key role in realising ABN AMRO's strategy of being a personal bank in a digital age. With your interdisciplinary team, you are responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving both the user interface for our pension’s platforms and the BFF layer. To this end, you will work on the pensions team code base, developing new features and maintaining existing ones, collaborating with other developers, advocating for best practices, testing and quality of the project and working with incident management. Your focus will be mostly on the Java BFF development, but you should be able to jump-in on tasks that includes our frontend development whenever it's required.
Working at the Personal Banking grid

‘I would describe the Personal Banking grid as a fast growing, open minded and creative space where I can explore and gain knowledge among colleagues.’
‘I love the diverse cultural backgrounds in the Personal Banking grid, as well as how everyone here helps and challenges each other.’
We follow the SCRUM framework and believe in a DevOps approach. We focus on solid principles that provide teams with autonomy and purpose in their work. We offer the opportunity for everyone to improve and grow in their skills. We love sharing knowledge and challenging each other. For example, we give presentations and organise hackathons. Also, we enjoy potluck lunches, Wednesday toasties, and in-person meetings together.
