Your job

Your main tasks and responsibilities? In this role, you work together with your team and other CISO and platform teams to ensure that network security standards are embedded in the entire ABN AMRO IT landscape.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and review network security architectures and designs,
• Provide consultancy on various network security related topics,
• Provide operational support for firewall changes approvals,
• Collaborate with various platform and application engineering teams, share knowledge and provide network security guidance and advice,
• Conduct network security design reviews for internal projects, applications, development,
• Together with the team and product owner plan and refine the team’s product increments.

Your profile

What do we expect from you?

You must have:

• Familiarity with industry best practices, standards, requirements and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27000 series, CIS controls etc),
• Good understanding and proven experience of network security technology in areas such as Firewalls, Proxies, DNS, DDoS, SDN/SDWAN,
• Good understanding and proven experience of network infrastructure in large organization,
• Good understanding and proven experience of cloud solutions and cloud network security, requirements and solutions, with focus on hybrid cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure; VMware NSX-T, Zero Trust, Mitre framework,
• Knowledge of and hands-on experience in network management tools and automation such as Tufin, Microsoft Sentinel.

Additionally, we’d prefer if you have:

• Good communications skills, ability to reach an agreement on requirements and solutions in communications with stakeholders at different levels of the organization,
• Information security professional qualifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, Microsoft AZ-305, Microsoft SC-100,
• Experience working in complex (e.g., regulated and/or enterprise) environments,
• Knowledge of and hands-on experience using and analysing large data using Power BI,
• Desire for continuous improvement, always curious,
• Cyber defender mindset.
