The Data Department Finance & Risk is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG) department, and plays an active role for all Finance & Risk departments. We employ 150+ staff, all of whom share a passion for getting the most out of finance and risk data. Our aim is to generate reliable risk data on time. We do this by improving the risk data itself, data systems and data processes.

Je werk

As member of the Risk MI Data team you will work together with your colleagues for the implementation of credit risk reports and dashboards serving our stakeholders with the purpose of becoming the ‘one stop shop for MI reports’. We aim to provide the compass for supporting the credit risk steering. The activity of the team is organized to cover the end-to-end data delivery process from collecting the client requirements, data definitions, data sourcing into a reporting datamart, ETL, BCBS 239 compliance (data lineage, validation, compliance, etc) and regular maintenance activities for the delivered data. 

•    Conduct consumer/business data research and analytics;
•    Collecting and translating stakeholder client requirements;
•    Extract actionable insights from large databases;
•    Perform recurring and ad hoc quantitative analysis to support day-to-day decision making;
•    Support reporting and analytics, such as KPIs, financial reports, and creating and improving dashboards;
 

Werkomgeving

We work with an Agile operating model. The Data Department Finance & Risk contains 7 agile teams with designated Product Owners. Our teams are focused on delivering value for the stakeholders in a fast, incremental way. 
You will work in the Risk MI Data team. We are driven to structurally improve risk data management for our stakeholders. 
The cluster and team consist of international professionals – business developers and IT engineers –with different backgrounds; diversity and inclusion principles are fundamentals for our teams. The atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal. We work hard, but there’s plenty of room for enjoyment!

•    You have a completed university education
•    You have Master’s Degree 
•    You have (demonstrable) experience working with complex data sets, tools and components of the data architecture
•    You have (demonstrable) experience with SQL and Cloud (Azure). 
•    You have a Helicopter view and are able to stand above the material.
•    You have (demonstrable) affinity with IT
•    You embrace the agile way of working
•    Focused on collaboration, innovation and achieving goals
•    Data driven and innovative
•    You have the skills to challenge your stakeholders and find out the "question behind the question"
•    Knowledge of Financial Services is an advantage
