Are you our new ambitious engineer to work on our Risk Assessment applications? Are you the one that can develop and maintain the required Azure infrastructure?  We are looking for someone with strong IT/Tech skills in combination with basic Risk Management knowledge to strengthen our team! As an IT Engineer you will be working in the Non-Financial Risk grid of ABN AMRO. Together with the team you will be working on applications to prevent or mitigate non-financial risks such as money laundering, terrorism financing, employee integrity and corruption. You will have an essential role in making sure the product vision is translated to executional work with clear requirements that fits the Risk Management Framework of ABN AMRO.

Your job

As an IT engineer you will be working on (business) analysis, development, improvement, implementation, configuration, testing and maintenance of our SaaS applications and packages. This can be applications such as SAI360, OneTrust, OCiR and PowerBI. These applications run both on SaaS platforms as on our own Azure platform. You will take part in the requirement gathering process and translating these into (technical) designs. 



Working environment

You will be working in one of our DevOps teams within Non-Financial Risk. Our mission is to innovate and to create value for our customers, using state of the art technologies and various cloud solutions. The DevOps team is working conform the scrum principles in sprints of two weeks. The team works in a hybrid way, some days in office and the other days from home.

Hands-experience in:

  • Integrating applications using API's
  • Azure (or other cloud provider)
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Database design and development
  • Writing (complex)queries (SQL)


  • Experience with one of the solutions we maintain (SAI360, OneTrust, OCiR and PowerBI)
  • Experience with creating yml pipelines
  • Experience with creating BICEP files (or any equivalent e.g. Terraform)


We are offering

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
