Lead Product Manager Consumer ICS

Your job

Customer and market behavior, technology and new legislation and regulations are constantly changing for Credit cards. As Lead Product Manager Consumer, your challenge is to respond quickly and adequately to these changes in this dynamic environment for the Charge card (deferred debit) product and the credit (transaction-based lending) products. You will do this by supporting a Product strategy and translating product and process adjustments and improvements into end-to-end solutions that match these developments for both the charge card as the credit products. As Lead Product Manager Consumer, you report directly to the Head of Products.
In your role as Lead Product Manager Consumer, you are responsible for the Charge card product and credit product:  

  • (Continued) development of a broad and complex product (portfolio). 
  • Leading organization-wide programs and building a broad stakeholder field up to MT and external parties. 
  • Translate product and process adjustments and improvements into end-to-end solutions that align with these developments for the credit product or payment card product.  
  • Provide insight into the (credit) product in terms of performance, quality and efficiency (in the case of credits, also in phase-out).
  • Creating support among stakeholders for implementing activities in the field of credits or payments.
  • Determining the vision, goal, direction and strategy for the Transaction Based Lending (TBL) credit product or for payment products and monitoring progress.
  • Initiating and assessing new initiatives in the credit domain and payment domain.
  • Ensuring that a new (credit) product is built and managed in the correct context and design to meet customer wishes and (compliance) requirements.
  • Regularly presenting updates and communicate “the credit product reduction-build-up roadmap” or “the product roadmap”.


Lead specific:

  • Point of contact (SPOC) for all activities within Consumer Products.
  • Together with Head of Products, determines the priorities/backlog of Consumer Products (payments and credits) and monitor the progress of the episodes/epics allocated to Consumer Products.
  • Point of contact for the Consumer segment lead at Sales & Marketing.


Key challenges and desired outcomes:

  • Meet the ICS Path to Green ambition to manage a fully compliant charge card and lending product. 
  • Reaching a sustainable long term financial performance by improving our cost/income ratio for the charge card and lending product. 
  • Redesign and optimize the Consumer product portfolio (suite) to meet today's customer demands.

Your profile

Ideal experience  

  • Work and reason at university level and have more than 10 years’ experience of inspiring and developing expert teams. 
  • A proven track record within Product Management for predominantly Payments and to an extent Credit, in developing new products and building product strategies. 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, both in Dutch and English).
  • Having a growth and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Having strong stakeholder management skills.
     

Specific knowledge

  • Knowledge and experience with the three lines of defense risk management model. 
  • Knowledge of card payments, loans and credit risk. 
  • Knowledge of actual and (inter)national financial markets, regulators and legislators.

  • The gross monthly salary (min. Eur. 7.896 - max. Eur. 11.270) is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and Benefit Budget. A 40-hour work week is also possible. Salary (scale) is based on the knowledge, experience and potential you bring.
  • The benefit budget is 11% of your salary. The benefit budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits.
  • If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development budget of EUR 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to EUR 3,000. 
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your
