Your job

As a Head of Product & Business you have two hats: 1) acting as a funtional lead for our Product Department, and 2) acting as a divisional lead for our Tikkie Business proposition.

You will help us develop our Tikkie Business (‘Tikkie Zakelijk’) proposition from our initial product to a full-fledge offering in getting paid for small SMEs. You will be accountable for the product strategy, business case, long-term roadmap definition, growth and go-to-market plans, ecosystem and internal and external partners, and adoption in the Netherlands.

You will be part of the Management Team (MT) together with the Head of Growth & Marketing and Head of Technology, and you will be directly reporting to the Head of Tikkie. You will also be managing our Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Developers, Business Analysts, and Data Analyst (~15 FTE).

But we also have a big ambition on growing our business proposition with ‘Tikkie Zakelijk’ offering entrepreneurs the same experience of getting paid easily for their SMEs

Your role will be crucial for making sure we can deliver on our ambitions. As an experienced Head of Product you will be responsible for leading our organization's product vision, strategies, and execution. You will act as the strategic leader for the Product department and oversee the product development, implementation, and go-to-market of our propositions.

• holds exceptional leadership skills for guiding and motivating the product team.
• can strategically think and has the ability to align product strategies with broader business goals and industry trends
• shows decisive decision-making and can identify and solve complex business challenges
• understands Tikkie’s positioning, market dynamics, and competitive landscape
• can build strong relationships with external partners, industry peers, and internal stakeholders
• is skilled in managing complex projects, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines
• has a data-driven mindset and way-of-working

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in the field of business, engineering, or computer science (or degree as an MBA as pre),… or similar fitting education
• At least 5 years of experience in building and monetizing B2B products or propositions in financial services
• A proven record of managing high-performing product teams
• Deep knowledge of payment industry trends and SME needs in finance
• A background in FinTech (corporate) start-ups or scale-ups

• Competitive monthly base salary from ~€115.000,- to ~€150.000,- gross (based on 40 hours, including 8% Holiday Allowance and 11% Benefits Budget). Actual salary based on fit, skills, expertise, and experience
