ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance is a wholly owned subsidiary from ABN AMRO. Primarily, we finance investments in movable assets (Lease) and debtor claims (Commercial Finance). Within ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance we develop our own software which includes our Commercial Finance Reporting tools. These tools process all relevant data to enable daily operations monitoring; management reporting and regulatory reporting. Application that regulates the processes around insuring our debtors, processing the incoming customer data and the software for the incoming and outgoing payment flow. In addition, we write software for the integration, consolidaion and reporting for our Commercial Finance portfolio.

Your job

As a Software Developer, you will design, develop, configure and manage our software applications and platforms so that the business can function optimally. You will be part of a team that is end to end responsible for service delivery towards our business and the customer. You will be responsible for software delivery to extend on functionalities and improve our technical software architecture.  

Working environment

The Asset Based Finance IT department consists of about 100 employees. We work from home a few days a week and from our office in Utrecht two days a week. Most employees work from the Netherlands. We work in an agile way, and you will be part of a DevOps team.  At this moment we have a vacancy within the Reporting Commercial Finance team, primarily using C#, SQL on Azure DevOps. The team consists of 5 members, supported by a Scrummaster and managed by a Product Oner.

Your profile

We are looking for a senior C# software developer. Ideally you are equally at home across the full Microsoft .NET stack. You like to develop backend processes, your experience with data modelling and data processing and reporting is required. It is an advantage if you have experience with Azure DevOps and pipeline compliancy. Knowledge and/or experience in the financial industry is very helpful.

We are looking for a team player, eager to learn, self-motivated and with a passion for building high quality software solutions. In addition, we expect that you have at least an HBO background and 4 years of C# development experience. Azure Certification is definitely an advantage. Given the team composition, a good command of the English language (written & spoken) is vital.

To summarize:

• In-depth .NET/C# expertise

• Writing maintainable software
• Data integration and data processing
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud solutions

A significant advantage would be experience with:

• Redesigning/refactoring legacy systems

• Passionate about software development and continuous development, keeping up with the latest developments in the field.
• Azure Certification is definitely an advantage.
