Your job

As a Product Owner for Data Science & AI, you are the strategic owner of a portfolio of AI‑driven products and capabilities. You translate organisational goals into a clear product vision, build alignment across a diverse stakeholder landscape, and guide the  team toward delivering scalable, production‑ready AI solutions.

You understand the value, risks, and limitations of AI, and you use this knowledge to make informed decisions on what to build, what to defer, and what to stop. You create structure in complexity, bring clarity to stakeholders, and give direction to your teams.

You will:

• Translate business needs into a clear, prioritised product roadmap, balancing strategic impact, feasibility, and risk
• Manage and negotiate stakeholder expectations across departments such as CDO, COO, P&T, Procurement, CIOs, CISO, and bank‑wide programs
• Guide and empower Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to build scalable AI solutions on Azure, Databricks, and Spark
• Make decisive, data‑informed prioritisation calls to ensure the highest-value initiatives are delivered first
• Drive adoption and value realisation, ensuring AI solutions are embedded effectively into business and IT processes
• Promote responsible AI practices, including data quality, governance, explainability, and adoption.

Working environment

You will be part of the Enterprise Enabling Data Domain, a growing cross-functional department that delivers AI solutions across the I&T landscape.

We operate with modern data and AI technologies, encourage experimentation, and value openness, collaboration, and continuous learning. You will work closely with around 18 specialists — Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers — and act as the strategic connector between the team and the wider organisation.

Your profile

You are an experienced product owner who thrives in complex environments and enjoys steering a multidisciplinary team. You can translate AI opportunities into business value and create alignment even when priorities compete.

You communicate with clarity, challenge assumptions, and create momentum. You bring energy, ownership, and strategic thinking.

You bring:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar leadership role in data/AI-driven domains
• An understanding of machine learning, data platforms, and ideally generative AI, LLMs, or agentic AI
• Demonstrated ability to lead innovation initiatives or emerging AI capability development
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English

• A strong advisory mindset and the ability to ask critical questions to stakeholders
• Passion for delivering high-quality, scalable products end‑to‑end
• Ability to lead in a multicultural, interdisciplinary setting
• Understanding of responsible AI principles and governance structures
