Ready to shape the future of Corporate Lending at ABN AMRO? Join us as a Business Developer in transforming the bank's credit landscape by designing future-proof lending processes, driving data-driven innovation and helping build a new central credit platform. If you thrive at the intersection of business and IT and want to make a visible impact, this is your opportunity to help redefine how we serve our clients.

Your job

You are a Business Developer who can help us building a brighter future for lending! We are looking for someone to design and continuously improve our new digital end-to-end lending processes, with a strong understanding of the corporate credit risk domain. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the future of lending. You will be working for the Bank Assisted Lending Program (BAL) Corporate Banking, responsible for a new digital end-to-end customer journey. Your role will involve driving requirement gathering from end-users and stakeholders, such as Lenders, Credit Risk, Risk Model Owners, Contracting, and Operations, and turning these needs into clear functional requirements and technical designs for our nCino credit origination platform.  Terms such as risk ratings, financial spreading, and risk models should be familiar to you, and you should be comfortable discussing rating processes with Operations as well as model-related requirements with Risk Model Owners. As the bridge between end-users, risk stakeholders, operations, and our developers, you will learn the end-to-end journey of corporate credits and ensure stakeholder needs are accurately translated into IT solutions. In order to excel at this job, you need to be creative, good at stakeholder management, organized, empathetic towards users, comfortable in a credit risk environment, and eager to learn about our software and processes.

Examples of day-to-day tasks include:

  • Analysing services, business processes, information flows, user and system requirements to identify opportunities.
  • Translating product roadmap features into concrete user stories by identifying and prioritizing technical and functional requirements.
  • Creating visuals and clear documentation to develop a shared understanding of the topic and improve organizational learning.
  • Supporting implementation, helping the development team to deliver quality by collaborating on test design and user acceptance tests.

Working environment

We are excited to welcome you to our devops team within the Bank Assisted Lending Program. You will work closely with colleagues from other streams, such as Integrations, Business Implementation, Regulatory, and subject matter experts from departments such as Lending, Risk, and FR&R.

Collaboration is key to our success, and we are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace culture. Every Tuesday, we come together for our Bank Assisted Lending office day, where we share ideas, insights, and progress on our lending platform. At the end of the day, we like to unwind with drinks and socialize. We also offer flexibility for you to work from home or in the office on any other working day. We believe that a healthy work-life balance is essential for you to thrive and succeed in your role. We are looking for someone who is passionate about devops, driven to learn and grow, and eager to contribute to our mission of shaping the future of lending. If you are a team player who enjoys working collaboratively, then we would love to hear from you. Join us in making a positive impact on the world of lending!

Your profile

As a problem-solver, you enjoy tackling complex challenges and providing structure to problems. You take ownership of challenges and can translate business and risk requirements into Salesforce functionalities in collaboration with our IT teams. You are a connector, building bridges between business users, Credit Risk, Risk Model Owners, Operations, and IT, ensuring that stakeholder wishes are captured clearly and translated into practical, future-proof IT solutions. We are looking for someone with experience in, or a strong affinity with, the credit risk domain. Familiarity with concepts such as risk ratings, spreading, and risk models is important. Experience with nCino is considered a strong plus.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's, or Master's degree in any field
  • Ability to identify solution options and present advice to stakeholders in a convincing and structured manner
  • Experience in business analysis, stakeholder management, and working with credit risk-related stakeholders
  • Understanding of credit risk concepts such as risk ratings, financial spreading, and risk models
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Risk Model Owners and Operations about model requirements, rating processes, and operational needs
  • Affinity towards technology, data structures, and querying
  • Knowledge of nCino is a strong plus; experience with Salesforce delivery is also beneficial
  • Self-starter with a critical look and positive attitude
