As a result-driven and commercially oriented team player, you are interested to learn more about Markets in general and in particular Corporate Broking & Issuer Services. Our clients are publicly listed companies in North Western Europe, which are seeking for pragmatic innovative and financial solutions. Within Corporate Broking & Issuer Services we offer a broad range of services on both equity and debt instruments. We provide advisory services with the aim to become the trusted advisor to publicly listed clients. In the Netherlands we are market leader in the corporate broking & issuer service area, whereby we are seeking for a candidate who is willing to grow our market share in North West Europe, in particular in Belgium and France.

Your job

Corporate Broking & Services is a dynamic and client-oriented team within the broader Equity Capital Markets team. Our activity is mainly offering corporate broking &  issuer services to public listed clients in North Western Europe. One can think of, assisting companies with their first listing on the Belgium stock exchange (IPO), or a merger, but also more daily driven activities such as assisting companies with their annual general shareholders meeting, dividend/coupon payments and shareholder identification. You will also be commercially engaged by preparing presentations (or “pitches”) and presenting them to/visiting (potential) Belgian and/or French clients. In doing so, you will be part of a broad transaction team. As a trusted advisor, you manage a one-stop-shop of qualitative services together with the team and the Head of Corporate Broking and Issuer Services.
As an account manager:
•    You will be responsible for assisting the team with their day-to-day activity with a focus on growing market share in Belgium and France;
•    You are client oriented and can translate data into qualitative advice;
•    Furthermore, we have a strong wish to automate and standardize operational processes, enabling us to focus on our clients and try to keep adding value to our customers.

Corporate Broking & Services is a dynamic team. Our activity mainly consists of offering corporate broking & issuer services to public listed clients in North Western Europe. One can think of, assisting companies with their first listing on the Belgium stock exchange (IPO), or a merger, but also more advisory driven activities such as assisting companies with their annual general shareholders meeting, dividend/coupon payments and shareholder identification.

•    You are a native Flemish speaker with good English communication skills (French is a plus);
•    You have a bachelor / university working and thinking level and you already know a bit about financial markets;
•    You are result-driven and have a flexible mindset, since the execution of a transaction does not stop at 5pm;
•    You can translate clients’ needs to requirements and vice versa;
•    You are multi-tasker, who is not afraid of handling administrative and data driven tasks (having IT skills, is a nice to have);
•    You like to work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, as we are sometimes seen as start-up within the bank.

We are offering

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
  • An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
  • An excellent pension scheme.
