Your job

As a Technical Intern, you will immerse yourself in the usage, analysis and testing of our GenAI capabilities. We have several GenAI initiatives that are aiming to increase GenAI adoption in our IT organization. In particular, our focus is to find use cases for GenAI where we utilize its strength to analyse design documents, architectural documents, and code to improve efficiency, compliance & security.
For example, getting a good understanding what legacy (old) applications do, by scanning their code bases, is of vital importance for ABN AMRO. This understanding helps us to create a plan moving forward and indicates what must be done with these legacy applications. 

In your role, you will:

•    Prepare data for GenAI to finetune its results, by creating abstracts from technical documentation in a format that GenAI understands
•    create and test prompts for our internal GenAI models
•    use GenAI to cross reference documents against standards and policies
•    use GenAI to cross reference code bases against standards
•    provide reports and output for IT governance based on GenAI analysis 

Your working environment

Our team is the X-Domain Design & Engineering team, which assists in several X-domain initiatives. These are typically more complicated, bank wide big IT changes and programs, that require the involvement of several departments within ABN AMRO. One of those initiatives, getting a clear insight in the IT Debt of several legacy IT applications, you'll be assisting us with.

The team is small, dynamic, varied in terms of roles, and consists of knowledgeable and experienced members. We're looking forward to helping you as well with your ambitions, by providing coaching or helping you out with any questions or interests you may have. Your profile

Passion for running GenAI initiativesto to increase GenAI adoption within the organization. During the internship you should be a master's student or in the final year of your bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Fluency in English is required, and you should be available for at least four months. This internship has a flexible starting date.

• Enrolled in a Dutch university for the duration of the internship
• University education in a relevant field (WO or HBO master's student or final year bachelor's student).
• Strong affinity with GenAI.
• Fluency in English.
• Available for a minimum of four months, with a flexible starting date.
• Ability to come to the office in Amsterdam at least twice a week.
