Your job

As a BE Engineer at our grid, you will play a key role in realizing ABN AMRO's strategy of being a personal bank in a digital age. With your interdisciplinary team you will focus on building & maintaining API's written in Java using Spring Boot, hosted in Azure. You will be working on maintaining and developing high traffic applications hosted on Azure, manage incidents (ensuring resolutions within SLA's) and coordinate with various teams and stakeholders (FE, APP).

Your profile

Must have:  

  • Java experience (version 17 or higher)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Very good knoweldge of APIs
  • Experience with frameworks like Spring/Spring Boot
  • Experience with testing frameworks & tools (Junit, Mockito, Wiremock, Cucumber, TestContainers)
  • Experience with setting up Azure environments & pipelines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Technical overview of full-stack engineering

Nice to have

  • Coaching and mentoring team members
  • Performance optimization
  • Monitoring/observability experience
  • Debugging skills
